The game also has a safe-mode which makes it accessible to players who may be more interested in exploring the plot, story and narrative rather than worrying about when they will be forced to run away again. Layers of Fear 2 takes on a much more classic approach to the horror genre, incorporating monster encounters with scripted chase scenes and tension-grabbing moments with unexpected twists and turns in every direction.
